BALFREY'S Artwork on Valentine's Weekend! Please Join us at this upcoming event at THE GALLERY: February 13, 2010 -- 3:00-6:00pm, , For details call 926-2334. Come visit with artist Willo Balfrey, one of Mount Shasta's local treasures. We will have an exhibit of over 10 of her original works, several of which have been well placed in national exhibitions. Willo has received these recent awards: Pastel Society of the West Coast 2009 - Award; Accepted into the 2009/ 2008/ 2005 Northwest Pastel Society; Northwest Pastel Society International 2006 show – BEST OF SHOW; North Valley Art League – Best of Show, 2006; Plein Air Painters of the Northwest Society, 2005 & 2004 Award of Excellence Winner! Willo is an exceptional pastel artist, who grew up in Durango, Colorado and had the beauty of the mountains, canyons, trees, and open air to influence her choice of the landscape painting. She now lives in Weed, California and has the beauty of the surrounding area to inspire her!
