You'll hardly see a more picturesque church than Sacred Heart in Fort Jones. Enjoy a day in Scott Valley with the "Round the Valley" driving loop....a pleasant half day trip that will give you a true picture of many of this lovely area. Highway 3 from Yreka will bring you into Scott Valley. At Fort Jones (just past this historic church) head south on Eastside Road. Follow it past the original site of old Fort Jones, the cemetery, and many ranches all the way to Callahan. Then head back on Hwy 3 to Etna, then Greenview, and finally back to Fort Jones.
